Introduction

I'm going to use this blog to journal the adventures with my young German Wirehaired Pointer, Vera. She was born in early february of '08, and was 7.5 months old when ruffed grouse season opened in our woods. She's a nice dog, and I hope I can do justice with my writing.
As entertaining as she is, I'm sure this blog will drift occasionally to other topics; I do after all, have three other dogs, not to mention a wife, child, and many interests aside from grouse and woodcock hunting.
